for Year 7-10 students

BOTH SESSIONS ARE NOW FULL

In this Master Class, young people will explore stories to be found in the buildings, rooms and artifacts of The Arts Centre Te Matatiki Toi Ora. They will then use the images and stories they have discovered to write in response to their discoveries. Our skilled Write On tutors will guide them in the creative process of writing and refining their ideas and words.  Completed work will be considered for publication in Write On issue 55 ‘Time Travel’ and for 'Stories on the Go' in partnership with The Commuting Book.

This opportunity is open to schools and individuals. Schools are limited to 4 students.

NB: In the event of Covid 19 Level changes this class will be offered via ZOOM on the same days.

Write On School for Young Writers,

The Arts Centre Te Matatiki Toi Ora

 Christchurch Heritage Festival 2020

have collaborated to provide this opportunity for your young writers and historians to explore the past and to create written responses.
