Send us a photo of yourself, or another kiwi kid exploring our natural environment.
Our cover helps to draw in our readers. We need an image for the cover of Issue 59 ‘It’s Only Natural’ that will make our readers excited to pick up the magazine and dive into reading our young writers' amazing work.
A great cover is original, it looks fresh and appealing. Think about book and magazine covers that you like. Can you capture a unique image that we won’t be able to resist? Consider colour and composition and stick with our nature theme.
The winning photographer will be credited in Issue 59 and on our blog and will receive a book bundle to the value of or exceeding $50.00
PLUS the winner's school will receive a one year subscription of 10 copies of Write On magazine. ( That's 20 magazines in total)
Terms and Conditions of Entry:
Write On School For Young Writers may use the image for the cover of Issue 59 in print, and online for promotional purposes.
The book bundle prize will be won by the photographer (they might like to share with their model/ models)
The magazine subscription prize will be awarded to the photographer's school.
The competition is open to photographers and models aged between 10 and 15 years old
Photos may be self portraits
The competition is open to New Zealand residents only.
Photos may be edited or formatted by the Write On design team
If our design team do not deem any photos suitable for the cover then we reserve the right to cancel the competition.
All unused photos will be deleted from our files.
