Master Class: Various Voices
Join writer, Heather McQuillan, for a master class in writing using different voices. We will explore both dialogue and monologue in a fun-filled day. Get creative and try out various voices.
Purpose: Learn to vary the voices in your writing using words, pacing, cadence and structure. Discover key tips to writing successful dialogue.
Tutor: Heather McQuillan is an experienced writer and teacher. She is author of award-winning books for young people including winner of the Tom Fitzgibbon award in 2005. Her most recent book Avis and the Promise of Dragons was released at the end of 2019. Heather is also known internationally as a writer of very short fiction. Her work has appeared in Best Small Fictions in 2017 and in 2019.
