Welcome to WRITE ON School for Young Writers
We are a not-for-profit organisation founded in 1993 and based in Christchurch, New Zealand, offering tuition and mentorship to young writers anywhere in the world. We also publish WRITE ON Magazine, full of writing by New Zealand's talented young writers.

Let the uniqueness of the child guide our work.
We offered young New Zealand writers the opportunity to give voice to their thoughts and ideas about Lockdown 2020. Then, in 2022 we gathered Voices for the Planet.
The poems and prose pieces were developed with the guidance of Write On mentors through prompts, workshops and/or online feedback.
Voice recording was supported by Plains FM 96.9.
