Classes resume at Hagley College June 6.
In our WRITE ON saturdayS classes we encourage students to explore new genres and forms, share work with their peers, and develop a self-conFIdent approach to their writing.
Our WRITE ON Saturday Classes in Christchurch are for writers ages 7 to 19. Classes are small (no more than eight to twelve in a group) and are led by tutors who are experienced writers and specialist teachers.
Programmes suited to the age and ability level of each group provide an enjoyable variety of writing challenges as well as the chance for motivated writers to pursue their own projects.
Students are provided with great writing prompts, 1:1 mentoring and redrafting support – with the motivation of possible publication in Write On Magazine.

“I love the variety of topics and themes, all the nice people you meet, and all the teachers are super nice. It has improved my writing skills immensely”
“I’ve enjoyed having a set time to write every week. No matter how busy I get, I always get to write and share my writing with other people who want to be there.”
