By Elizabeth Milne Year 9

She gets angry when I step on the colours
Each swirling line, each vibrant hue
Painstakingly placed on the rough surface
Milk-white to start off with, pale tones emerging
Layers of shapes, a cacophony of chromatism
So I dance around the beautiful minefield
Not a whisker out of place
It’s hard work being an artist’s cat
