Josiah Morgan
Josiah Morgan (Kāi Tahu, Ngāti Maniapoto) is a writer/actor/creative based in Ōtautahi. He is the author of three poetry collections and on the publication of his 2024 collection was identified by The Spinoff as one of Aotearoa’s finest young writers.
He believes in the power of words to transform things. We like to think that Josiah learned some of that as a student at Write On.

Annabel Wilson
Tangata Tiriti writer and teacher Dr Annabel Wilson lives in Swannanoa, Te Wai Pounamu. Her poetry, plays and creative non-fiction has been published and performed in Aotearoa and overseas. Her works include No Science to Goodbye (RNZ 2017), Aspiring Daybook (Mākaro 2018), dusk & us (Ghost City Press 2024), Making mixtapes with Seichan (ngā pukapuka pekapeka 2025) and Māhuri Tōtara, Tōtara Haemata | Small Tree Small Tree, Tall Tree Tall Tree (Scholastic, forthcoming). She holds a PhD in creative writing in which she investigated hybrid forms.
Gail Ingram
Gail Ingram writes and lives on the tussock-clad Heathcote hills of Ōtautahi Christchurch. She is the author of four poetry collections. She holds a First Class Masters of Creative Writing from Massey University, and graduated cum laude from Hagley Writers Institute in 2006.
Her poetry and fiction is widely published in New Zealand and internationally. She is an experienced editor and teacher of writing.

Ray Shipley
Ray Shipley is an Ōtautahi-based comedian, poet, marriage celebrant, and writing tutor. In 2019, Ray was nominated for the Billy T Award, the biggest award for the rising stars of comedy in Aotearoa. Ray has won the Christchurch Poetry Slam four times, and placed third nationally in 2018. Their poetry can be found in the anthologies Solid Air (UQP, 2019), and in Out Here (AUP, 2021), among others. Since 2020, Ray has been running Late Night Poetry Hour - a celebration of poetry and feelings and staying up past bedtime - monthly at Little Andromeda Theatre.
Harley Bell
Harley Bell is a poet from Aotearoa, New Zealand. He is currently working on a book of poems, called Wild Altar. He has been published in various journals. He spends his time in cafes, libraries, forests and parks. He draws inspiration from the conversation between the natural world and cityscapes.
