On cold winter's night, as the rain fell outside, the TSB room at TÅ«ranga in ÅŒtautahi Christchurch was filled with warmth and smiles and pride for the launch of Write On Issue 60 Memories and Milestones.
30 of the 55 young writers featured on the pages turned up to share their wonderful words with of a supportive audience of whanau, friends and special guests.
It was especially lovely to hear from our featured writer, 16 year old Molly, of how she had dreamed of this moment since she was about seven, and to hear her heartfelt gratitude for her tutors at Write On Saturday classes over the years.
Writing and publishing is not a solitary act and it took a wonderful team of young writers, tutors, proofreaders, our editor Sarina Dickson, and our fabulous new designer Regina Speer, to bring this wonder into the world. We hope you love the changes and please tell us what else we can do to make the next issue even better.
