We had another fabulous day of writing in Christchurch today with our Kidsfest Winter Writing School.
Our final day for this year is tomorrow and a few people asked today if they could come back because they'd had such fun. The answer is yes! There are still places in tomorrow's classes.
Today's workshops were Writing Funny with Gail Ingram, A Treasure Trove of Stories with Desna Wallace ( with a genuine treasure trove! We promise to get photos tomorrow) , while our senior class worked on fantasy scenes for their novels with Heather McQuillan.
In the Writing Funny class one of the favourite activities was making comic stories. Here are a few of the characters and first draft comic strips:)
