Learning Something New in Lockdown

A prompt for Write on Speak Out: Lockdown Voices 2020

During the lockdown many people learned new skills and tried new ways of doing things. Many young people had to learn how to learn from home. Some people used the time to learn something new.

What did you learn during the lockdown. What was your motivation? How did it go?

Write about your experiences. Use specific detail and sensory language - name places, people and things, use all your senses, and show us your lockdown experience.

Also think about the mood you want to convey to your readers. This will affect your tone, which could be thought-provoking, informative or humorous.
