Art of Slam Performance poet, Nathan Joe, will lead you through an intensive workshop exploring the fundamentals of spoken word, ideal for first-timers. Sharpen the skills and techniques needed to create a compelling performance.Â
Nathan Joe is a performance poet, playwright and theatre critic based in Christchurch. He was the 2019 Otago Poetry Slam Champion and placed third at the 2019 New Zealand National Slam Finals. He is the most recent Ursula Bethell Writer in Residence at the University of Canterbury.
